Uncovering Hidden Textures and the Passage of Time in Opatija: An Abstract Photography Series on Decay, Beauty, and the Forgotten Details of the Urban Coast

This weekend, I invite you to join me in the charming coastal town of Opatija, Croatia, nestled along the Adriatic Sea. While Opatija is renowned for its elegant, old-world architecture and timeless charm, my lens was drawn to details that often go unnoticed. I sought out the textures and colors found in the rugged seaside rocks, weathered surfaces, and layers of time etched into the landscape. Through these images, I explore the beauty of decay, the intricate patterns in stone and earth, and the abstract forms shaped by nature and history.
