Beautiful. Thank you for sharing. We humans are easily fooled by the deception that if we have a name for something or it is scientifically classified that we therefore understand that thing, and don’t have look closer, longer, and deeper. In reality, the fact that we have a name for a thing means nothing, and if we look closely like this, we will start to realize that we don’t actually have any idea about the mystery that we’re looking at. What’s beautiful about doing this is the sense of awe that comes back into life by forgetting the name or the label and simply looking at what sits before us.
This is a great comment, and it came at just the right time. Yesterday I lay on the terrace for two hours, staring at the pine trees, and it became pretty clear to me that everything—literally everything—is a projection of our mind. For example, there’s no real difference between outside and inside, the pine tree and the grass, me and the fence—except in our mind. In other words, when we look at the world, we’re actually looking at our own mind. What a turnaround!
So true. It’s not lost on me that your thoughts and visual treasures come from your garden Davor. To really notice it helps if we get beyond shiny newness by returning to the same small places, and allow ourselves the time to still our restless minds.
Beautiful reflection on life and what is! I agree, Hvar has a richness of natural beauty unsurpassed! I spend some time there a few years ago. The Croatian islands have so much beauty and peace!

Everyone needs to have a sacred place, a place where they can truly be themselves. Thank you for being sincere with your thoughts. .
